Shifting quickly at high RPM is extremely hard (in some cases even impossible), especially when using a beefy aftermarket clutch. Slave Cylinders


GM/ACDelco Slave Cylinder
If you're removing the transmission for any reason, make sure you replace the slave cylinder while you've got everything apart. The weak link in the factory hydraulic setup is the master cylinder, so there is no need to upgrade your slave - just keep it fresh. Now is a great time to upgrade to our Tick Performance Remote SPEEDbleeder Line, as well!

You've got two choices when it comes to replacing the slave cylinder. You can go with the factory GM replacement (which includes all fittings) or purchase an LS1 F-Body style slave cylinder for less money and swap all of your fittings off of your original slave onto your new one during the install. We offer the F-Body Slave in two variations, the ACDelco #386433 is an aftermarket style slave using the newest revision female slave fitting (click here for more information) and the GM #15046288 is the OEM part using all OEM style fittings. Both will fit and work with the factory master cylinder male connection. Choose the ACDelco if you're on a tight budget.
