Parts Installation
From Bolt-Ons to Boost
In business for nearly as long as the LS1 engine has been around, Tick Performance is well equipped to install every part we sell (and even some we don't!) From a complete engine to a cold air intake, we do it all for an extremely competitive price. Operating out of our 7500 square foot facility in beautiful Mooresville, we've got 5 service bays that are set up to accomodate our every necessity.
Why should you choose Tick Performance for your next round of upgrades? There are multiple reasons - first and foremost being experience. We specialize in all late-model GM vehicles, meaning that we have the specific knowledge and ability needed to perform your upgrades the correct way. Another reason is that we only employ full-time technicians with a passion for GM Performance, so you can trust that your pride & joy is in safe hands while it is at our facility. Lastly, our pricing is extremely competitive even with smaller, non-specialist shops that always seem to be decent at everything but great at nothing. We strive to match or beat most any pricing on parts, and our labor rate is very affordable as well.
Trust Tick Performance with your next round of upgrades, and know that the job will be promptly, correctly, and affordably. Fill out the form below for a price quote on your specific request.

PCMForLess Computer Tuning
Alvin Anderson - GM Expert
If you've never had your computer tuned by PCMForLess, you're missing out - especially if you've modified your vehicles. Alvin Anderson, our resident tuner, owns and operates PCMForLess of NC right here in our shared facility. Known nationwide for his vast knowledge of GM Tuning, he's an asset to all local performance junkies who understand the value of a good tune.
Computer tuning is the best way to get the most horspower and driveability out of your current setup. It is also the best way to insure that you're making SAFE horsepower. You spend too much time and money on your vehicle to justify not being sure that it's making the most horsepower possible, and that it is safe while doing so. Although we share our facility, PCMForLess and Tick Performance operate as two seperate businesses. For pricing and scheduling a tune, please visit PCMForLess' website by clicking their logo to the right.

DynoJet Services
In-House DynoJet 224xLC
A dyno is an essential tuning tool when accuracy, efficiency, and safety are your top three concerns. Here in house, Alvin Anderson tunes on his DynoJet 224xLC that was installed brand new in September of 2007. If you've ever wondered what kind of horsepower your ride makes, you can find out here! Our dyno is capable of reading up to 1500 horsepower and achieving speeds of over 200mph.
That is only one of the many features that our dyno boasts. The "LC" in its name stands for "Load Capable", meaning that a simple click of the mouse or keyboard can turn it from an eddy current dynamometer back into an inertia only dynamometer or vice versa. We can use the dyno to perform load tests including step, sweep and loaded roll-on. Closed loop load testing is also available by targeting engine RPM, speed or percentage of load.
PCMForLess owns and operates the dyno, so for scheduling and pricing you'll need to contact them. Click here to visit their website, PCMForLess.com!
